I love seeing celebs who have their own style. They are not afraid of trying something new. My all time favourite style icon would be Grace Kelly. Grace was glamorous, yet effortlessly chic.

These women always look simply stunning. No matter if its to attend a red carpet event, or running errands, they always manage to look effortlessly stylish.

Time For Bed

Winter is a time to spend cuddled up in a warm, cozy bed with a loved one. I know this is what I'll be doing this weekend - without the loved one, he is away at work.

I simply love the bedrooms below. I would enjoy spending a cold, wintry day rugged up in any one of them.

All I need is a good novel and a steaming cup of hot chocolate!

SJP & Matthew welcome their babies

I am thrilled that Sarah Jessica and Matthew can finally get on with their lives after the birth of their twin daughters.

I cannot imagine how hard life must have been for them over the past few months. Hopefully the media let's the family welcome home their new bundles of joy in peace.

As much as we love to read those trashy gossip mags, I think the media & paparazzi need to take into consideration the safety of the family. Leave the children out of it for once. Yes Sarah Jessica and Matthew have had twin daughters via surrogacy - it only proves celebrities are actually normal like us. They have their own problems. Unfortunately they do not get to deal with them by themselves - the whole world has to know.

A Bright Interior For A Gloomy Day

It is such a cold and gloomy day in Perth today. It only got to about 12 degrees all day!

Because it is such a grey day, I thought Id brighten it up with some bright, colourful interiors!

I am in love with pink and orange together. They remind me of my childhood. Maybe it's those big lollypops you get from the Royal Show!

Yellow is also another colour im lusting after on such a cold day. The thought of summer, with bright sunflowers, pineapple and a brightly shining sun, warms me just thinking about them.

I am in love with this bathroom. I would love to soak in a big, warm, bubble bath, with tuberose candles lit, reading a good book.... oh I can only dream!

Now im off to have a steaming hot cup of hot chocolate!

Whimsical Wednesday

My Wednesdays are always very fast paced. Today has been no exception!

I have been at work all day - and I am trying to plan a re-vamp of my bedroom.

Working is so hard when you are dreaming of all the gorgeous things that can be done. Deciding what to do with my chest of draws and bedside cabinets is the hardest. I am thinking about painting them a dark smokey silvery colour, with some new glass door knobs.

I have purchased some new bedding - a FABULOUS silver/grey quilt cover, with silver squins on the bottom which come up and fade off - from Peter Alexander. And for the sheets -incredibly soft, deep purple.

I have to say, grey and the hue of deepest purple look amazing together.

Im loving black & white at the moment - how good do they look?!

The start of a new week

It's Monday. The start of a new week and the begining of new ventures in life.

It's back to work for me today. I had a great weekend. Caught up with my lovely girlfriends for dinner on Friday night.

I am looking forward to later on in the week, when I have some time off work. This will be spent, organising my closet from summer to winter. Now its getting cold again, I am pulling out my coats

These two adorable rug rats are my beloved pets. Sonny is the puppy and Inka is the cat with emerald green eyes!

They love to hop into the shower with me in the morning.... Yes, a cat who loves water!....

Rainy day

Good Morning!

Its started off as a cold, wintery morning in Perth today. Its my day off today, and since I won't be venturing very far from home, it will give me the perfect opportunity to get a good start on Pink Flamingo.
