Op Shop Finds

Just days before my operation I was prowling Op Shops hoping to find some magical buys. I have a few favourites around the Perth area and frequent these in hope of finding another vintage Chanel purse - yes I kid you not!

Found at the bottom of a box of bags and purses a Vintage Chanel 80's purse. Plain black leather with a simple embossed Chanel logo on the front. Before I got too excited I checked to see if it was genuine or fake, I looked and found the serial number. I grabbed it quickly with a huge grin from ear to ear.
Since then I have not been as fortunate. Although Iam constantly finding lovely home wares such as vintage glass cake stands and vases.

My latest purchases was a vintage glass jug, two silver plated little pots with lids and a glass, diamond cut dish with a matching top.

I'm still not sure where I am going to display my new trinkets for the moment they are sitting on a antique side table in the loungroom.

Arent the roses gorgeous? They are the last of the blooms we will get before the heavy rain ruins the last blooms and then its time for pruining. Its about 10 years old and a magnificent standard variety given to us when we bought the house. It is always covered in blooms.
