New York Living

I like to imagine how other people in the world live, what their style is like, and what their plans are for the day.

New york is somewhere I hope to visit someday. I Love the bold colours used in these New York apartments.

I have spent the weekend pottering in the garden. The sun was out, shining brightly down, it was almost warm!
I love this time of the year, the garden comes alive, the days start getting a little bit warmer, and it is still raining.
I cant wait until my garden springs into life come spring!

Sorry!

Sorry for not posting anything for the last week or so. I have been stuck in bed with a full blown flu. Today is the first day I have been able to get up out of bed in a week and a half.

I promise I will be posting some magical posts once I have some strength back.

I hope you are well, and enjoying your week.

Lounging Around

I adore chaise lounges. I think they look fab in the bathroom. Or in the bedroom where you can lay back by the window reading a book in the afternoon sun.

The first picture is my favourite. I love the brightness of the lime with white.

I am going through a phase, where I want everything to be bright and happy. I think it may be due to the dark and gloomy days Perth is having. Perfect for lazying around reading my new book!

Fashion Loves

As you may be aware, I have a serious thing for fashion. I have a massive shoe collection, to which I buy a pair of shoes - no matter how expensive - just because I like them so so much that I just want to look at them.
This also happens when I see a gorgeous cushion, lamp, throw, vase, almost anything I can display in the home.
I have two great passions in my life
1. Interior design
2. Fashion
Below are some pictures I found while browsing on the internet at a new pair of shoes!
I think fashion photography is great. It tells a story, be it the photographers or the viewers own story.

Happy Weekend

I hope you all have a wonderfully relaxing weekend.

This weekend I am pottering around the house. This morning after letting Sonny outside to do his business, I went outside to find he had ripped out Mum's Bromeliads. He was in the middle of throwing them around the yard playing with them. I am hoping he thinks they are as gorgeous as I do, and wanted to put them in a vase inside!!!

I will be gardening, washing, and the oh so dreaded vacuuming today, and catching up with friends on Sunday.

London Living

I have a friend who has moved to England for a year or so. He has family over there, but is also wanting to travel and see the country. Whilst talking with him over the Internet tonight, it made me wonder what Londoners living rooms are like.

I've found these images, and I love the use of colour and texture to warm up a lounge or living area in such a cold, grey place.

How romantic does the room in the 3rd picture look? All shades of creams and whites teamed with a splash of a red floral arrangement.

A bed of roses

I Adore roses, and i would love to have a gorgeous garden like the English gardens below. The secret winding paths, with soft pinks, purples, creams and blues.
I think I am turning into a bit of a gardner after spending my younger years growing up watching Mum and her Dad garden. I think they have the best gardens in their streets. Grandad loves his poppies.
All I can hope for is a big yard so I can have my magic garden.
